A service celebrating the life of Robert Joseph “Bobby” Horn will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in the Cache Schools Auditorium with Rev. John Webb officiating.
Burial will follow in the Chattanooga Cemetery under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
The family will greet friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Friends are asked to feel free to bring their hot rod, muscle car or motorcycle when attending the funeral.
Robert Joseph “Bobby” Horn died Thursday, October 10, 2024 in Cache, Oklahoma at the age of 65. He was born August 9, 1959 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Billy Verne Horn and Chloe Jane Horn Dean. Bobby grew up in Lawton and was a 1977 graduate of Lawton High School. He married Michelle “Missy” Russo on October 31, 2014 at a church in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Bobby had worked for Cecil Lawson Cadillac as an automotive technician and for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He operated Bob Horn Automotive for 13 years before establishing Horn Sanitation which he operated for 27 years. His most recent business venture was the formation of Horn Recycling.
He lived a full life. Bobby enjoyed dirt track racing, antique and vintage cars, hog hunting, side by side riding, trips through the mountains, riding motorcycles, aviation, dogs and raccoons. More than anything else though, he enjoyed spending time with family. The family’s annual Thanksgiving gathering was a much looked forward to event for him.
His faith was also important to him. He was a member of the Cache Christian Church and served as a church deacon.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle “Missy” Horn, Cache, Oklahoma; his children and their spouses: Joseph and Stephanie Horn, Indiahoma, Oklahoma; Aaron and Alicia Horn, Lawton, Oklahoma; Melissa and Kit Cochrane, Cache, Oklahoma; Casey Moeller, Cibolo, Texas; Alex and April Russo, Cache, Oklahoma; and Rebecca Thomas, Cache, Oklahoma; his brother, Steve Horn, Lovelady, Texas; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ed and Louise Russo, Indiahoma, Oklahoma; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ja’Nice and Bob Langdon, Mustang, Oklahoma, Karen and Donny Cox, Corum, Oklahoma, Michael and Rhonda Russo, Mountain Park, Oklahoma and LeRoy Horn, Lawton, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Charlotte, Isabelle, Ryker, Everette, Taylor, Reagan, Madison, Kaycee, Alyssa, CJ, Jace, Ellie, Knox, Jaxton, Laylah and Savannah; a great granddaughter, Sydney; nephews and nieces, Deadre Horn-Wolzen, Nathan Horn, Tad Walters, Torrie Gibbs, Trae Walters and Tally Mayfield; and extended family, Lola and Charlie Bynum, Robert and Kendal Gray, Nathan, Laura, Hagen and Pearly Deaton, Terry Roach, Derry Shaw and Terry Shaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Barbara Walters, and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
