A gathering of family and friends celebrating the life of Todd Paul Cox was held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Todd Paul Cox age 48, died Monday, October 14, 2024 in an automobile accident east of Lawton, Okla. Todd was born May 6, 1976 in Lawton, Okla. He grew up in the Lawton area and was a graduate of Cache High School where he played football and drums in the band. He married Tracy Dawn Owen in Lawton, Okla.
Todd worked for a short time at a local tire shop and for the City of Lawton before forming his own company, Cox Cattle and Trucking. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, whether it was working, hunting or fishing.
He is survived by his children, Brook Cox and her wife Kathryn “Kat” Cox, Owasso, Okla., and Cody Mauldin and his wife Shaelynn, Blanchard, Okla.; his grandchildren, Braylee, Chasen, Lane, Skyla, Emma and Adrian; his mother, Jan Howenstine Dennis, Lawton; three sisters and their spouses, Helen Cox Chedester and Jason, Marlow, Okla., Becky Archuleta and Anthony, Albuquerque, N.M., and Amy Griffith, Oklahoma; two brothers, Donald Ray Cox and wife Karen, Waurika, Okla., and Chad Griffith, Minnesota; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Bones and Remi.
His father, Donald Warren Cox, preceded him in death.
