Funeral services for Clint Leon Emmons was at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 17, 2024, in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder Chapel with Pastor William Dickey of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Snyder, Oklahoma officiating.
Burial followed in Mountain Park Cemetery, Mountain Park, Okla.
Clint Leon Emmons, 49, of Mangum, Okla., passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in Oklahoma City. He was born on January 4, 1975, in Lawton, Okla., to Gary Emmons and Debrah “Debbie” Marshall. Clint graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1994, where he actively participated in basketball and baseball. He also played football at Cache High School.
Clint was self-employed in the construction industry and worked closely with his father on the family farm near Mangum, where he was residing at the time of his passing. He was known for his hardworking nature and strong commitment to both his business and the family farm.
Clint deeply cherished the time spent with his daughter, Haley, and the rest of his family. He had an infectious sense of humor and was well-known for his playful pranks, always bringing joy and laughter to those around him. An avid outdoorsman, Clint enjoyed hunting, fishing, and water sports. He was passionate about animals, showing pigs, and had a particular love for street cars. Clint was also a devoted NASCAR fan, with Jeff Gordon being his favorite driver.
His love for life, family, and outdoors will be remembered by all who knew him.
Clint is survived by his daughter, Haley Emmons, currently of Muskogee, Okla., his parents, father, Gary Emmons and wife Sandra of Mangum, Okla., his mother, Debbie Marshall of Cache, Okla., two brothers, Heath Emmons and wife Breanna of Mountain Park, Okla., and Jared Emmons and significant other, Brooklyn Hill of Mountain Park, Okla., two nephews, Jake Emmons and fiancé Kyra Hussey of Mountain Park, Okla., and Jax Emmons and wife Montana of Snyder, Okla., one niece, Morgan Emmons and significant other Andrew Godin of Comanche, Okla., an uncle, Randy Marshall and wife Alisa of Indiahoma, Okla., an aunt, Sonya Portwood of Norman, Okla., and one great nephew, Parker Emmons, and numerous other cousins.
Clint was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
