John Robert Robbie Cable

John Robert Cable (Robbie), was born on March 19, 1963, at the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton to Gloria Wermy Cable and Vernon Cable, Sr. Rob passed away Wednesday, Dec. 25th 2024, at the age of 61 years old. He would have been 62 in March! He was a member of the Komah Memorial Church of the Nazarene in Cache, Okla., and a proud member of the Comanche Nation.

Robbie attended Cache Public Schools and Graduated from Cache High School. He worked various job in and around Dallas, Tex. and the Lawton, Okla. areas for many years before being disabled after a heart condition several ago. Robbie was an avid pool player and played in various pool tournaments throughout Lawton and other areas.

Robbie is survived by one Son: Christopher Cable; four Sisters and their companions: Charlene and Pat Tahdooahnippah; Verna and Ron Burgess, Billie and Ken Kreger, Glenda and Joe Goseyun, and two brothers: Vernon Jr. and Carol Cable and Terry Don Cable. One Uncle: George Wermy, plus a host of many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other Cable Family Cousins and Special Pool Friends.

Rob is preceded in death by his son: Craig Cable; Parents: Gloria Wermy and Vernon Cable, Sr., Josie and Bert Cable, Sr.; Brother: Tony Phillip Cable; Sister: Norma Cable Adame; Niece: Penelope Cable. Uncles: John Donald Jr. and Betsy Wermy; Glen and Roberta Wermy,; Aunts: Peggy and Nick Tahchawwickah, Sr. Jeri Wermy and Leatrice Wermy; Cousins: Nick Tahchawwickah, Jr.; John Donald (Jutes) Wermy, III, and Grandmother Agnes Wermy.

Pallbearers: Tommy Wesaw, Lance Owens, Will Owens, Harvey Bigman, Daniel Kreger, James Kreger, Shadrick Large, Jr.

HONORARY Pallbearers: Tommy Barnhill, Brandon Wallis, Christie Quinton, Stacy Hunt and Dennis Woommavovah.

Prayer Service was Monday, Dec. 30th at 6 p.m. and Funeral Services was on Tuesday, Dec. 31st at 11 a.m., both services were held at Comanche Nation Funeral Home located at 2701 SW J Ave, Lawton, Okla.; and both officiated by Respected Elder Tina Baker. Burial followed will be at the KCA Cemetery, Cache, Okla., in the Cable/Wermy Family plot. Meal provided for family and friends at CaHoma Community Center.
