Patricia “Pat” (Webb) Hollander

August 14, 2025

Patricia “Pat” (Webb) Hollander, 86, passed away on August 9, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma surrounded by family. Born on July 16, 1939, in Birmingham, Alabama, Pat lived a life rooted in family and volunteer work in the community.
Pat dedicated much of her life to being a devoted wife and mother on the family farm south of Cache, Oklahoma. In later years, she extended her nurturing spirit beyond the home by joining the workforce. Pat worked for the Cache Public School system before retiring in 2017. Her time there reflected her commitment to her local community.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband George Hollander and is lovingly remembered by her children: Robert Hollander of Alpine, TX; Kathie Harmon and husband David of Kingston, OK; Blaine Hollander and wife Pam of Lawton, OK; George Hollander II and fiancée Kelly Jenkins of Cache, OK. Pat’s grandchildren are Tiffany Chrismon and fiancée Micah Lomas of Oklahoma City, OK; Kyle Hollander and wife Sheena of Oklahoma City, OK; Chance Hollander and wife Kelsie of Pecos, TX; Patricia (Tricia) Phelps of Big Spring, TX; Anna Hollander of Orwigsburg, PA; George Hollander III, currently serving in the military in Japan; Andie Hollander, Orwigsburg, PA; Brennan Laughy and his wife Melissa, Cache, OK; and Devon Laughy, Lawton, OK. Pat was also blessed with several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many wonderful friends. Pat leaves behind her brother Jerry Webb and his wife Marie, Florida; and Teri Kapili and husband Phil, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her mother Nellie Mae Dixon; siblings Leonard Webb, Jackie Young, Cheryl Webb, and Glenda Hagenbugh.
Pat’s hobbies reflected her generous heart and creative hands. She had a passion for sewing—especially sewing patches on letter jackets for area schools—and took great pride in supporting the local community. She enjoyed attending school events including high school basketball games and other local events including the Lawton Rangers Rodeo with friends. Fittingly, the rodeo on August 6, 2025, was the last event she attended.
A dedicated member of the Cache Lions Club, Pat volunteered for many years painting ribbons for the Red Ribbon campaign at Cache Public Schools. She was also an active member of the Lawton Antique Car Club where she shared many joyful hours with her husband George restoring antique cars and trucks for parades and events. Her talent extended to upholstering seats—a skill she took pride in perfecting.
Pat was a spiritual woman attending services at Cowboy Church Elgin - Apache. Her faith was a quiet but steady presence throughout her life.
Those who knew Pat will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Her warmth extended far beyond family ties—she built lasting friendships throughout the Cache-Lawton community and gave freely of her time to support others whenever possible.
Pat requested not to have a formal funeral service, but instead a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to allow family and friends to honor and celebrate her life and legacy in an uplifting manner.
In memory of Pat and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cache Lions Club, Box 858, Cache, OK 73527.
