Mary Jane Lawson

Funeral service for Mary Jane Lawson, 85, of Lawton was held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 29, 2025 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home 
Burial followed at Chattanooga Cemetery. 
Mrs. Lawson passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2025 in Lawton. 
Mary Jane was born on November 14, 1940 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Delbert and Nellie Jane (Anderson) Cantero. Her family moved after she was born and settled in Faxon, OK, and later moved to Hollister, OK where Mary Jane graduated from High School. She then married and raised her family who was her pride and joy. Mrs. Lawson was a faithful member at the Calvary Assembly of God. She enjoyed reading, fishing, visiting with her friends, and playing cards and dominoes. 
She is survived by her children, Gwenda Stepp and husband, Kerry,  Chrissie Schlumbohm and husband, Doug, Daniel Lee Calhoun and wife, Jackie; Kim Moore, Tammy Lollar and husband, Bill; her brother in law, Donald Calhoun; her 18 grandchildren; her 34 great grandchildren; her 2 great great grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends. 
 Mrs. Lawson is preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Alfred Calhoun and Marion W. Lawson; her brothers, Delbert Paul Cantero and Dean Cantero; and her sister in law and best friend, Mary Calhoun.Mary Jane Lawson
