Kenneth “Kenny” Duane Atauvich, Jr.

Funeral Services for Kenny Atauvich will be held 9am, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Post Oak Mennonite Brethren Church (2115 NW Indiahoma Rd, Indiahoma, OK) under the direction of Comanche Nation Funeral Home. 
Kenneth Duane Atauvich Jr., 37, of Cache, Oklahoma passed away February 12, 2026, in Houston, TX. He was born on July 22, 1988, at Clark AFB, Manila, Philippines to Kenneth Atauvich Sr. and Shannon (Roach) Atauvich.
He was raised in Cache, Oklahoma and graduated from Cache High School where he was active in football and home economics. Kenny was a barber by trade and spent his career with Simple Cuts Barber Shop. He enjoyed giving haircuts and brought that skill wherever he went. He believed a good haircut could make a difference. Kenny was a movie lover and quoted movies in everyday conversation, regardless of if anyone knew the movie. He was known for his humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Family was important to Kenny and he will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his mother: Shannon Lay, Grandmother: Brenda Woommavovah Roach, grandfather: DeRoy Atauvich Sr., great grandparents: Nathaniel and Vida Woommavovah and best friend, Zachary "Duke" Nelson.
Atauvich is survived by his children, his son Caleb Horsechief, of Anadarko OK, and his daughter Elora Shannon Atauvich, of Lawton OK; his father Kenneth Atauvich Sr, of Glendale, AZ; his sister Brittany Atauvich-Barker and husband Daniel Barker, of Ponca City OK; his uncle Edward Guy Roach, of the home; and fiance Tristian Morgan, of Walters OK; Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
