Ricky Rodgers

Word has been received of the death of Ricky Rodgers, 68, of Grandfield, OK.

Mr. Rodgers passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 8, 2026 in Comanche, OK. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. 

Services will be held at a later date. 

Ricky was born on February 9, 1958 in Frederick, OK to A.C. and Norma Lavern (Allen) Rodgers. He grew up in Chattanooga, Devol, Hollister and Grandfield and graduated from Grandfield High School. Rickey then studied to be an paramedic and served in the Lawton community until his retirement. Mr. Rodgers was a farm hand  and also served on the Grandfield Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed riding ATV's and loved to go fishing, boating, and camping at local lakes.  

Mr. Rodgers is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lewis and her wife, Katy Farmer, of Waurika, OK; his brother, Jerry Rodgers, of Grandfield, OK; his sister, Wanell Potts, of Duncan, OK; his grandchildren, Brett Lewis, Ivory Lewis, Charlie Lewis, JR Rodgers, and Kelley Rodgers; and many other loving family members and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Rickey C. Rodgers; his parents; his grandparents; his brother, Stanley Odell Rodgers; his sister, Linda K. Rodgers; his brother in law, Lester Potts; his sisters in law, Gertie Lowery and Evah Ray Garvin Rodgers; and multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.
