Matthew Paul Seid, born on June 7, 1974, passed away on March 14, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to those he mentored.
A lifelong coach, Matthew began his career in 1997 and dedicated himself to shaping young athletes both on and off the field. As a high school football coach, he was more than a leader—he was a mentor, a role model, and a steadfast supporter of his players. His passion for the game was only rivaled by his devotion to the young men he coached, many of whom carried his lessons with them long after their final whistle.

His impact reached far beyond his immediate family, as he was a guiding figure to countless players, colleagues, and friends. The influence Matthew had on those he coached will endure for generations. His presence on the sidelines, his words of encouragement, and his belief in his players will never be forgotten. His legacy is etched in the hearts of those who had the honor of calling him “Coach.”
A memorial service will be held to honor his life and the profound impact he had. Details will be shared with family, friends, and the many whose lives he touched.
